Heritage Health-chillicothe facility has been a part of the Chillicothe community since 1964 when it first opened as Parkhill Nursing Home. A 1995 expansion of the building increased their resident capacity to 110.
In 1997 Heritage Enterprises purchased the facility from Methodist Hospital.

Located along the Illinois River Valley, their facility offers a peaceful setting, including a garden area with a gazebo and walkways.
They provide many amenities for their residents, including activities for high and low functioning individuals, Bingo, weekly outside entertainment, and pastoral and church services.
An especially unique aspect of their facility is their admittance of residents 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, whether the need is short or long-term.
They are pleased to provide wireless internet service for guest and visitor use.
Heritage Health - Chillicothe is a member of the Illinois Health Care Association and the American Healthcare Association and is a strong supporter of the Alzheimer's Association.
